HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY Friday Guys!!! Josh's family just arrived in town today for a little visit and I couldn't be more excited to see familiar faces! While they are catching a little nap after their long drive I thought I would give you a little peak into my cellular device (do people still say that?)

I am OBSESSED  slightly attached (who am I kidding, I am obsessed!) with my cell phone. I absolutely hate saying that, because I want to not be one of those people detached from the real world. Since I spend so much time on my phone I thought I would share some of the pretty cool apps I have!

I just recently downloaded this background from another blogger (wish I could remember who right now!) to give her a little shout out.

I am OCD as you can tell from how organized my phone is, but oh well.

I just picked a handful of apps I thought you'd enjoy to share, because there is no way I was doing the entire phone. You would get bored and I would want to stab my eyes out. So let's avoid that!

Pandora is obvious. If you don't have it get it.

End of Story.

Shazam allows you to record a song 

playing and it tells you what song it is.

Have you ever been out and thought who sings this...

Well BAM this app would have been perfect.

Last is this section AutoRap.

You can record ANYTHING and it makes it into a rap.

The other day Josh said a list of inappropriate words 

and the rap still sounded awesome.

The only reason I am showing you this section is for 

Duolingo. 

I started really randomly learning Italian on my spare time?

This app teaches you step by step. I couldn't tell you 

if I am learning the correct way or not, but it is pretty cool.

but that is all I'm remembering right now!)

I downloaded to find out.

Face Juggler and aLike are both apps 

to that use pictures from your phone.

AND make you laugh uncontrollably. 

Pink Pad is exactly what you think it is.

iShaver PRO is a fake razor that scares people when 

you walk up behind them and press it to there heads and 

they think you are shaving their heads.

I didn't know what to title this section, because it is just so big.
Basically I have the staples...Pinterest, Target, CVS, Walgreens, EBAY, Etsy.

Groupon if you don't have this save you money through group rates.
Anything from gadgets to vacations.

KeyRing keeps all of your reward cards right on your phone.

Imagoo is hard to explain...just trust me download it you won't be sorry!

Cartwheel is connected with Target and basically saves you 
money on the thing you already buy at Target.
If you didn't already have enough reasons to go to Target!

I was once part of an "Air Skateboard Team."

Granted I was in the 8th Grade and it might have been a joke.

BUT still pretty embarrassing...basically we jumped at weird angles,

like we were on a skateboard and took pictures and videos.

Might have also worn 80's band T-shirts while doing it.

I have an alert ego...

Dear lord I can't believe I'm sharing this crap!

His name is Louis and is probably roughly 80 years old.

My best friend since 7th grade is his dear friend Phyllis. 

Who is also roughly 80 and each have a bad case of lock jaw.

I would like to say this was something we did ONLY when we were younger,

but then I would be lying to you.

Five On Friday: Rotten Ecard

Well hello Friday! This week has gone by so quickly and I work all weekend so today isn't as special to me as it is to you, but oh well! I lacked an idea for todays Five on Friday so I thought I would just catch you up on my life via Rotten Ecards...who doesn't love those right? 

I've been collecting some of these that describe my life recently! 

{one}

This is the life I live every single day. I love couples that can 

go unplugged to spend time together, but I love 

makeup videos on youtube and Josh loves car websites

to much to unplug for each other, ha! 

{two}

I like to refer to it as Youth Alzheimer's! 

I have no memory guys...like none.

Just the other day I walked around the parking lot at my work

multiple times looking for my car? Like What?

{three}

I have a confession guys...

On facebook when a large website posts a controversial 

picture or status, I like to go through and read all the fights people have on it!

I don't know why, but I love to see people fighting over stupid stuff.

The insults like, "it's you're not your!" and "You're ugly!" never ever get old to me!

I have been hearing, "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." FOREVER.

AND

I hate it!

I'm sure skinny feels great, but I don't know that feeling 

so I'm gunna have that piece of cake.

Josh and I have really been trying to eat healthier, but I still can't stand this.

I am sure you guys have noticed I am horrible at spelling and grammar...

I don't know what to say about this?

I try to go back and edit...sometimes.

Let's just go with I reinvent the english language.

The first thing we bought semi recently was a new grill. 

It is starting to get nice out so we immediately started looking for a grill deal.

Josh's mom (shout out to her, because I know she reads my blog!) 

told us Big Lots had good deals on grills. 

$199 people! What a deal! 

Embarrassing fitting room picture alert****

I headed to Old Navy the other day with one thing on my radar...

Two words...Pixie Pants. I fell in love with these bad boys.

They were only $25 and the top was $15.

I also bought a super cute pair of black flats for $15

AND

got a white t-shirt for free for buying the pants!
Free shit should be my middle name (But that would be a weird middle name)

Bed Bath & Beyond has sent a 20% off coupon to our house

EVERY WEEK

since we moved here in October!

This week we decided to go check out what they had with our coupon.

Rando shopping trips are not good for Josh and I.

I found this plastic mason jar with a straw that has water in

 between two layers that you can freeze for like a ice effect.

Read the instructions because I cracked mine pretty much right away...
I had to exchange it for a new one and I felt dumb. So don't do that!

Josh found this fish basket for the grill. 

We eat a TON of samon and it didn't go so well on the grill last time.

We will give this a try and if you are interested enough

Josh thought it was "cool!" 

It is hard to tell, but the wicks are in an s shape.

I thought I would share what has been going down in my kitchen lately! 

We have been really into Detox water.

This is just cucumber and strawberries in water over night.

This is mint, cucumber, and lime over night in water.

Spinach salad, cucumber, strawberries, blue cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette. 

Shredded chicken, cheese, avocado, cilantro, a little lime juice, salt, wrapped in a burrito and baked.

March Birchbox Review

My Bitchbox arrived last week and I couldn't contain my excitement...

I started to share a little bit about how I was debating doing either another blog devoted to beauty posts OR just adding these types of post right to this blog. After some of my bloggy friends talked me off the ledge of having two blogs, I decided to just add more things on here. 

So if you like the lifestyle portion of this blog and would prefer to not read beauty posts I'm giving you a heads up that this is beauty related...come back tomorrow and I will be talking food and who doesn't love food.

I just thought it was appropriate to start here.

This chick doesn't eat dark chocolate,

BUT

I couldn't not let you guys know how it was soooo

I "forced" Joshua to eat it and he was so upset I made him.

No, but really he said it was delicious!

I was impressed with this sample size and product.

I have a really dry face so I use a moisturizer on it every.single.day.whomp.

I switched to using this as soon as I got it and have LOVED it!

There is no way I am paying $39 though for the full price when this runs out.

Yeah so then I got this bad boy...

I don't even know where to start here. 

It smells, was impossible to get the packaging open (I had to cut it with scissors),

and it did nothing for me. 

Personal opinion only.

It is hard to tell this color from the picture, 

but who the hell cares there are half naked men on the packaging!

I got the color pie and out of all the colors I could have 

recieved this might not have been the best for me, but it was decent on my lips.

You can use it on your cheeks or lips.

The full size is a palette with all 6 colors!

Sigh. I know I promised to never complain about foil packets,

but come on they do kind of suck. 

I can't tell if I like a product from this small of an amount.

I could also pick this packet up myself.

On a positive note it smelled AMAZING!

This is the same brand as the above product. 

I had never heard of this brand before, but I'm going to assume that 

EVERYTHING

they sell smells extremely yummy. 

I loved this product as well, but was confused by the term "mask."

When I think of a mask I think like thick and visible when you put it on. 

This is not that way. It is think on your face, but it does smell amazing, hardens as it dries, and wipes off easily!

I am so sad to only give this box 2 stars since I have been happy with my other boxes so far, but I don't like dark chocolate, the foil packet was so little, I couldn't use one of the products due to a weird color for me, and the lip repair was just nasty!
